Another winter blast

Nothing much to report. Just another Oklahoma ice storm. At least in the Tulsa and Claremore area our roads are drivable, though it's not advisable to get out unless one has to.

The Muskogee area got hit much worse. They experienced power outages and as far as I've heard, power is not back on yet.

Remind me not to complain about my weather. I would be totally clue-less how to drive on an icy road, the one time I did it I freaked out.

ewwwww. I hate snow and ice. I've only seen it a couple times (when I was out of the state of Florida) and I never liked it. It's a horrid nuisance.

Barbara: Your reply reminded me that there actually are people in these United States, such as yourself, who've never had to drive in snow or ice in their entire lives. Seems incredible! :)

Saur: Yes it can be a nuisance but we learn to cope. We have to. However, there are many more states in the Union who get more of the wintry mix than we do on a regular basis. I guess this just happens to be our year. :)

Saur: I just had a thought. Somewhere on your blog I remember reading that your heritage is Scandinavian. That being the case, I wonder why your aversion to cold weather is so strong? You'd think the cold weather gene would be a part of your genetic make-up. Too many generations in Florida, eh? :)
