Cheesecake Recipe
Here's an old family cheesecake recipe that you will surely enjoy. It came from my wife's side of the family, passed down from her grandmother who used to live in Ohio. With the holidays soon upon us, I thought I'd post it for others to enjoy.
Cheesecake is my favorite dessert, the only one I think I could over-dose on! :)

You know, it's funny... most men are really into cheesecake (the dessert, that is). Most of the men that *I* know would say it's their fave dessert. So, I've got all kinds of recipes. My fave is still the turtle cheesecake you can buy at Sam's Warehouse though, and it always gets rave reviews! ;o) I love the recipe cards. I think my grandmother used the same ones!
Mmm...yes I've had the Sam's cheesecake and it is very good, too.
If you decide to try this recipe, and like it, let me know. Most people who do try it love it. Whenever I take one to a Christmas party, the pan never returns empty. It's simple but people seem to go bonkers over it. The last time I took it to a Christmas party, the nuns (I work at a Catholic hospital) happened to be sitting at my table and a few of them had my wife's cheesecake on their plates and were making some "Oohs" and "Ahhs" as they took bites. I overheard one of them ask, "who made it"?
Naturally I spoke up and told them my wife made it, and that it was an old family recipe. They asked for the recipe and politely said something to me about bringing one in just for them to eat sometime. I grinned and said I would.
I was hooked the very first time I had cheesecake way back when. I just couldn't believe something tasted so good this side of heaven. :)
